About Me

My name is Linda Bodden. I was born and raised in the state of Wisconsin. My love of sewing started at a very early age. My mother was an avid seamstress so there were always leftover fabrics lying around. I made hand sewn doll clothes and a variety of craft projects with any scraps I could get my hands on.

We didn’t have much money growing up, so our "back to school" shopping consisted of a trip to the local dime store. There, in their bargain basement, were piles and piles of flat folded fabrics and bins of various sewing notions. I was in heaven! It was like my moms scrap basket exploded! By the time I was in high school I was sewing all of my own clothes, feeling very lucky to have a “one of a kind” wardrobe.

My love for sewing has never faltered. Through the years, I have had several jobs in the sewing industry. I have worked for a national fabric store chain, sewn in a leather goods factory, owned my own fabric store, and most recently, worked as a sewing and product advisor for a well-known sewing celebrity. I have gained a wealth of information along the way that has led me to open my own business so that I can continue to do what I love.

Thanks for visiting my website, and I look forward to assisting you with your sewing needs.

Linda
